Pearl Tide

Privacy policy

Effective October 7, 2026

Pearl Tide is a single-player game. It has no accounts and no ads, and it doesn't track you. This policy describes the little information the game uses and why.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings, the names you give your companions, and the photos you take in photo mode are saved on your device. We don't receive any of it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Purchases

If you buy pearls, Apple (the App Store) or Google (Google Play) handles the payment. We never see your payment details.

To confirm purchases and add the pearls to your game, Pearl Tide uses RevenueCat, a purchase-processing service that works on our behalf. RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat uses this only to process purchases. Its own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Photos

When you save a photo, the game asks for permission to add it to your photo library. It adds only the photos you choose to save, and it never reads your library.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device, such as when the tide's daily gift is ready or a holiday set is coming. Nothing is sent to a server to do this. You can turn reminders off in the game's Settings or in your device's settings.

Analytics and advertising

The game doesn't collect analytics or crash reports, shows no advertising, doesn't use your device's advertising identifier, and doesn't track you across other apps or websites. If this changes, we'll update this policy first.

Children

Pearl Tide isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK, or California), you may have the right to access or delete personal information about you. The only such information is the purchase record held by RevenueCat. To ask about it or delete it, write to support@pearltide.world.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites. GitHub, which hosts it, keeps standard server logs.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
